Pendleton Bulldogs Varsity Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Emerald

Pendleton Bulldogs Varsity stole the lead late in the game in an 8-7 victory over Emerald on Thursday. The game was tied at seven with Pendleton Bulldogs Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Ben Huber’s sac fly scored one run for Pendleton Bulldogs Varsity.
Pendleton Bulldogs Varsity earned the victory despite allowing Emerald to score four runs in the second inning. Emerald’s big inning was driven by a single by Will DeTreville, a sac fly by Chase Beale, and a double by Braeden Burton.
Emerald took an early lead in the second inning. Emerald scored one run when Burton doubled.
After Pendleton Bulldogs Varsity scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Emerald answered with two of their own.
